You’ve stocked up on our candles and sprays, your display looks great, and customers are walking by—but are you pricing your products to sell?
Finding the right price point isn’t just about slapping on a sticker. It’s about knowing your true costs, understanding your market, and making sure your margins are as fresh as your store smells.

Let’s break it down. Before you decide on a price, you need to know what each unit is really costing you.
✅ Product Cost: The price you paid for the case.
✅ Shipping Cost: Divide your total shipping cost by the number of items in the order to get a per-unit shipping price.
Example:
You order a case of 12 candles for $50, and shipping is $24.
$50 ÷ 12 = $4.17 per candle
$24 ÷ 12 = $2.00 shipping per candle
Total cost per candle = $4.17 + $2.00 = $6.17
Most retailers use keystone pricing (aka doubling your cost), which works great for our products.
$6.17 × 2 = $12.34 suggested retail price
You can round that up to $12.99 or even $13.99, depending on your market. If your shop has a boutique vibe, don’t be afraid to lean toward the higher end. You’re not just selling a candle—you’re selling a solution.
