On January 28, 2026, Paul visited Sunshine Novelty and toured the warehouse with Camilla to review our product presence and merchandising.
Jars — Retail: $5.49
In the retail space, the jars were presented well overall. However, there was a noticeable overstock of holiday scents. Paul front-faced the products to improve visibility and took photos of our displays.
7oz Sprays — Retail: $4.49
The 7oz sprays are currently displayed in white boxes, which hide our labeling from customers. There were no Hippie Love or 420 scents in stock, while holiday inventory was heavy and some shelf space was empty.
1oz / XXX Sprays — Retail: $1.99
Only a couple of cases were available, along with a limited number of display boxes.
Order & Merchandising Updates
An order has been placed with TOP covering freight. We are sending a Grand Opening Kit (XL) along with empty displays for customer use.
We also provided empty 7oz display boxes so they can replace the white boxes currently on shelves. Jeanne will include a “love note” with the order to explain these updates and thank them for their business.
Recommendations
Paul recommends that the store begin carrying mixed cases of 2.5oz, 1oz, and XXX sprays. At the moment, they are selling only single units.
He also noted that a competing 420 spray is priced lower and suggests aligning pricing to remain competitive.
Overall, the visit was productive, with clear opportunities to improve product visibility, balance inventory, and strengthen merchandising support.
